New at IMTS 2018
Future factory benefits, today
At IMTS 2018, Renishaw is demonstrating its range of smart factory process control solutions, which are proven to help machine shops across many industries transform their production capabilities.
Easier rotary axis calibration
For the first time with CARTO 3.0 the Renishaw XM-60 multi-axis calibrator can be used with the XR20-W rotary axis calibrator, providing one easy to use and intuitive software solution for all Renishaw laser calibration products.Find out more
Faster and repeatable feedrates
SupaTouch technology intelligently determines the fastest feedrates a machine tool can achieve whilst ensuring repeatable measurement. Its smart in cycle decision making technology implements the quickest probing strategy (either one touch or two touch) for each measurement.
Gauge larger parts
The new larger Equator 500™ system now enables the gauging of larger parts, with a working volume of 500 mm in diameter and up to 400 mm in height.Find out more
Using high quality metrology fixtures can improve throughput, reproducibility and accuracy of inspection processes with quick repeatable fixturing set-ups.
Ultra-compact strain gauge probe
Designed for small 5-axis machine tools, this ultra-compact strain gauge probe provides a reliable and precise touch-trigger solution for part setting, feature measurement and machine performance checking.
On our dedicated additive manufacturing booth, we will be showcasing our latest additive manufacturing systems and software along with our new powder handling solution in collaboration with LPW Technology.Find out more
Faster and easier CMM error mapping
Renishaw's newly launched XM-600 laser measurement system offers enhanced capability to connect directly with Renishaw's range of UCC CMM controllers.Find out more
Hear all about AM
Marc Saunders, Director of Global Solutions Centres at Renishaw is giving a talk on the next phase of market growth in additive manufacturing (AM) during IMTS. The session will take place on September 12th, 2018 from 10:45 to 11:00am at McCormick Place, West Hall.
Renishaw is introducing additively manufactured styli to its comprehensive styli range. Produced in-house by Renishaw, AM styli can access features of parts that other styli cannot reach, providing a flexible, high-performance solution to complex inspection challenges.
The Grand Challenge
Renishaw is working with the MTConnect Institute (an ANSI Standards Developer) as part of its Standards Committee, helping to add support for workpiece quality data to the MTConnect open communications standard for future applications.
Renishaw scanning aids Yamazaki Mazak
At IMTS 2018, Yamazaki Mazak is showcasing its new Integrex AG series of machine tools which utilise Renishaw SPRINT™ technology to deliver a rapid and flexible solution for gear manufacturing.
Renishaw will exhibit to young people, parents and teachers from a dedicated education booth as well as hosting Learning Labs on an adjacent booth. The education programme forms part of Renishaw's larger presence at IMTS 2018, which focusses on automated process control and additive manufacturing.
Supreme speed with SupaScan QuickPoint cycles
Exclusive to SupaScan – Renishaw's ultra-fast on-machine probing solution for workpiece set-up – the QuickPoint macro cycle delivers market leading speed of measurement.
